About Neutron*

Meet Neutron, one of three adorable kittens who returned from foster care. Neutron's foster reports: `These delightful foster kittens are ready to find their forever homes. Together they make up an adorable atomic trio, each with a unique personality and attraction all their own.Neutron is a handsome black kitten with dreamy blue-green eyes. Confident and curious, he's the fearless leader of the group, always the first to investigate a new toy, explore a new space, or chase his siblings. All three kittens have been lovingly raised in a foster home, where they have received plenty of care, socialization, and love. Whether you're looking for a brave explorer, a devoted lap cat, or a sweet companion who blossoms with patience, the Atomic Kitties are ready to bring joy to their new families. `Neutron is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery.Neutron's adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund - a fund that draws adopter's eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
