About Honey*

Meet Honey, the orange tabby and white kitten. Honey arrived to the Shelter with her mom cat as an underage kitten. She and her littermates were tiny and needing extra TLC. An experienced foster parent took in this family and helped bring them back to good health. Honey is now ready for adoption. Honey has been socialized with a variety of aged people in her foster home. She has also interacted with cat-savvy dogs and cats. A home with other animals may be a fit provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction. Honey should be indoors only to keep her safe (as well as our local wildlife).Honey is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
