About Marshall*

Meet Marshall, the medium haired brown tabby. We are guessing that Marshall is around 6 months old. He arrived to the Shelter as a stray found by a good Samaritan. They kept Marshall overnight and reported that he enjoyed sitting in the 9 year old daughter’s lap. At the Shelter, Marshall has been a little reserved. He will likely blossom in a home environment as he gets to know his new family. To keep Marshall safe (as well as our local wildlife), an indoor only home is recommended moving forward. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
