About Shakira*

Shakira is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. This super cuddly kitten loves chasing toys and having fun just as much as she loves curling up by your side for some quality cuddle time. The moment she’s near you, you’ll likely hear her purring away. Shakira loves being close to her people and is happiest when she has a companion to follow, play with, and snuggle with. Whether you’re tossing her a favorite toy or relaxing on the couch, she’s ready to be right there with you. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving kitten who will fill your home with purrs, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, Shakira is the perfect match! Shakira is looking for a safe, indoor only home. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
