About Goldie*

Meet Goldie, the 4 month old female calico kitten. Goldie came to the Shelter after a good Samaritan found her in the neighborhood with her three littermates. After feeding them for a period of time, they were concerned for their safety in the long term. Goldie has experience playing with the two pugs that the person owned. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. To keep Goldie safe (as well as our local wildlife), an indoor only home is required moving forward. At the Shelter, Goldie has been loving attention from staff and volunteers. She loves to play with toys and would likely do well in a variety of homes. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
