About Princely*

Meet Princely, the orange tabby adolescent. Princely came into the Shelter after a good Samaritan took him in to keep him safe and sound. He spent time indoors for about 4 weeks with the family. He interacted with several other cats. A home with feline friends may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Princely was initially reserved when he arrived at the Shelter but after some one on one time with a volunteer – he was purring with his head in their hand. When they moved away, he made biscuits on his bed and sought more interaction from the staff member. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
