About Flounder
Meet Flounder—he may be shy today, but his story is just beginning. Flounder is a very shy kitten who has been through a lot of change in a short time. He arrived at his original shelter with an upper respiratory infection and then transferred to EAPL. We’re happy to report that he has fully recovered. Because sick kittens must spend their initial time in quarantine, Flounder hasn’t yet had many opportunities to learn how much fun people, toys and other kittens can be. Now that he’s healthy, he can begin gaining confidence and discovering the joys of kitten life. Flounder will need a calm, patient person who understands that trust can’t be rushed. After time to decompress and feel secure, we hope his playful and social side will begin to emerge. Watching a shy kitten take those first brave steps is incredibly rewarding—and Flounder deserves someone willing to take that journey with him. He is currently settling in at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center inside Chow Down Pet Supplies in Evergreen. Stop by, speak softly and give him a chance to get to know you. Ready to help Flounder feel safe and loved? Complete a cat adoption application at www.eapl.com. Once approved, you can schedule a meet and greet and find the cat or kitten best suited to your home.
