Meet Minnie—a little lady with big ears and a sweet spot for being wherever her people are!Minnie is a 3-year-old Dachshund/Terrier mix with an adorable scruffy face and a gentle, loving nature. She can be timid and shy at first, but give her time to settle in and you’ll discover a devoted little companion. Her favorite place? Wherever you just went. Minnie happily follows her foster around, loves attention, and even spends her nights sleeping with her foster’s daughter.She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with her foster’s canine crew. Minnie is reported to be good with cats and children, although her foster home doesn’t have either to confirm. She seems to love people, but can be a little wary of some men until she has time to get comfortable.Minnie is house, kennel, and leash trained, and treats are definitely on her list of favorite things! Loud noises can make her uneasy—even the hairdryer gets a suspicious look—so she’ll appreciate gentle reassurance and a patient family while she adjusts.One important Minnie memo: she’s a door dasher. Her family will need to be careful around entrances and exits and help her practice waiting safely instead of slipping outside.Minnie is still new to rescue, and we’re enjoying getting to know her. With a little patience and plenty of kindness, this sweet girl is ready to become someone’s much-loved shadow. The suggested adoption fee for Minnie is $565. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home.
