About Finn- sweet scruffy senior

Finn is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter Finn needs a soft landing Scruffy. Sweet. So deserving. Meet Finn, a tiny 10-pound senior gentleman with a big story and an even bigger heart. Believed to be around 10 years old, this adorable little guy may be a Yorkie/Wire Fox Terrier mix—or simply a one-of-a-kind scruffy masterpiece. Finn was surrendered after his beloved owner passed away, and he is ready to find the comfort, love, and stability of a home again. At some point in his past, Finn was hit by a car and had orthopedic surgery, but he is doing well and enjoys a calm, cozy life. He doesn’t jump, but he happily keeps up with the important things: snuggling, napping, mealtime, and being close to his people. This sweet boy: • Gets along wonderfully with other dogs • Uses the doggy door like a pro • Sleeps peacefully with his foster mom and the other dogs • Is calm, gentle, and easygoing • Recently had a dental and happily eats hard food Finn is not looking for excitement—he is looking for someone to love him, keep him safe, and give him the soft place to land that every senior dog deserves. Finn is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. He has been neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
