WATCH MY VIDEO...Sweet Shay is a 5-year-old Lab mix who is hoping her next family will be her forever family. She was surrendered when her family moved and sadly couldn’t take her along. After losing the home she knew, Shay deserves a chance to discover just how wonderful life can be with a family who will love her forever. Shay can be a little shy when she first meets you, but give her some time and patience and her sweet personality begins to shine. She is very friendly, loves children, and enjoys being around her people. She’s also an active girl who loves to play, and if there’s a ball involved, even better! Toys and treats are definitely the way to her heart. Shay already knows “sit” and “paw,” and she’s ready to learn even more. And if you happen to speak Spanish, that’s a wonderful bonus! Shay’s previous family spoke predominantly Spanish with her, so she is familiar with Spanish and is perfectly willing to expand her vocabulary with some English, too. ¡Qué inteligente! Shay isn’t a fan of loud noises, so she’ll do best with a patient family who understands that she may need a little time to feel completely comfortable. Once she knows she is safe and loved, this sweet girl has so much affection and fun to give. Shay’s past may not have been the happy ending she deserved, but her future can be.
