About June Berry

We have had the privilege to foster June Berry for now 3 months since my husband and I found him walking across the train tracks in late June, 2026. It has been great to watch him grow and develop his personality. He would be good fit for someone/a family looking for a very people loving, high energy dog, that also likes being a couch potato in the afternoons. June is food motivated, making him great for someone willing to train him further and with some dog experience. He will also try to sit on your lap and to get pets likes he's a light 10 pound dog. As for how he is with other animals, we have two cats that he has slowly been introduced to. June does fairly well with them, but we do keep a gate between them because he thinks the cats want to play like another puppy. We are still monitoring that. When it comes to other dogs, he can be very submissive to them as he is still a puppy and will expose his belly. He would do great with a small or large well behaved/trained dog(s) as he just wants someone to play with most of the time. He does not like dogs that are chaotic or that do not respect his space when he is resting. Overall, June is an excellent pup who needs someone with experience to bring him into their lives. He is a true joy and always does something silly or witty to make my husband and I laugh. If you want a wonderful companion in your life/family's, June would be just that.
