About Mapi

Meet Mapi! DOB: February 2026Weight: 18lbsDisposition: Curious, Loving, GentleMeet Mapi, a sweet and curious girl who is ready to turn the page and find a forever home of her own. Rescued from an abusive situation along with five siblings, three of her littermates have already been adopted, leaving Mapi and her sister Racoon still waiting for their big break. Her name is short for mapache—the Spanish word for raccoon—which perfectly suits her endearing, inquisitive nature. While her past makes her a bit shy and nervous in new situations, a gentle spirit and deeply loving personality lie just beneath the surface, blooming as soon as she feels comfortable. Mapi enjoys peaceful walks, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and thrives when given a little time to settle in. She would do best in a calm, patient household where she can build her confidence at her own pace and develop a close bond with her person. If you have a soft spot for a resilient soul who just needs a little time to shine, Mapi is ready to show you how rewarding her trust can be.
