Meet Rolex! DOB: August 2024Weight: 17lbsDisposition: Quiet, shy, gentle — Rolex is a precious little low-rider Dachshund with a million-dollar smile and a heart just waiting to blossom. He is very shy and can be unsure in new situations, but underneath that cautious exterior is an incredibly sweet boy who wants to feel safe and loved. Every day, he is coming a little further out of his shell, and watching his confidence grow has been so rewarding.History: Rolex came to us from a kill shelter in LA with his sister. When they first arrived, they were separated, and Rolex was so frightened and overwhelmed that he would hide in the back of his kennel and make himself as small as possible. His fear put him at risk of euthanasia, but thankfully, we were able to step in and give this sweet boy a chance. Since coming into rescue, he has been slowly learning that he is safe, loved, and surrounded by people who care about him. Every day, we see a little more of his personality emerging. ❤️ Best Home: Rolex needs a patient, understanding family who will give him the time and space he needs to build his confidence. He would do best with someone who understands shy dogs and won't expect him to become an outgoing social butterfly overnight. A confident, friendly dog companion would be wonderful for him and could help show him that the world isn't such a scary place.
