About Gidget

Meet Gidget! Gidget may be deaf, but she certainly doesn’t let that slow her down! This little girl is small, sweet, and packed with the most wonderful personality. She has completely stolen the hearts of her current fosters, and it’s easy to see why. Gidget is the kind of puppy who loves being close to her people and finding a cozy spot to settle in. In fact, if you ever can’t find her, there’s a pretty good chance she’s tucked safely under the bed, fast asleep and completely content. She’s sweet, cuddly, and full of personality, and we know her future family is going to adore her just as much as her fosters do. Because Gidget is deaf, her new family will need to be comfortable learning how to communicate with her through hand signals and visual cues, but she is one special little girl who is absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend with a huge heart, Gidget might be your girl! Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian. Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with 911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
