TIMBER! Yeah, That's what people yell when a tree comes crashing to the ground, but more importantly, that's my name. I'm a sleek black shiny boy just 1 year old and Medium size lab/Sharpie mix? I'm a friend with all that live and breath. Found as a stray, my life took a turn ending up in a high kill shelter in WV. Staff there saw my possibilities were endless with character, zest for life and willingness to give to others, not taking. Had a weekend furlough away from the shelter with a staff member too who took me paddleboarding. YEP, check out the photo! My personality shined through. Molly's Place saw my potential and off I came to PA to find my furever loving family and home. Here there is no place mom/dad can take me paddleboarding, so I've opted to use dad's pool float. BOY, It's a blast! Dad can't keep me off! Although I can be a bouncy boy, I do quiet down easily. Velcro boy to mom during the evening, I give dad his time too during the day (dad is retired). I can also be happy to just lay in the sun and observe my family from a distance as well, then take a snooze. I take treats "daintily", wait my turn, eat side by side, back off if challenged. NO way do I want to engage in a fight. I'm also a soft mouth if the opportunity allows me to chaw on your fingers. Car rides, walks, ball (don't expect me to return it), zoomies, silly/wiggly when I wag my tail, back rolling or whatever your pleasure. I'm a cuddler and even a great "body Pillow" if needed. Crate and hour trained fur sure. I'm ready and willing to take on the world and learn with your help. Timber wants to "fall' into your life! TIMBER!!!! You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following: spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, age appropriate vaccinations, initial dewormings, Activyl for fleas, tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only), bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee. Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis. We can not send extra pictures. WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet. Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier. Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.
