Lightning – Playful, Affectionate, and Enthusiastic Lightning is a 10-month-old, 30-pound German Shepherd Dog mix with classic puppy enthusiasm and a big love for people, toys, and adventure. Leash Manners: Lightning usually walks nicely with mild pulling on leash, though he may pull excitedly at times. He may sometimes bark and pull toward people and dogs, so continued puppy leash training will help him shine. Smart & Treat Motivated: Lightning knows “sit” and possibly “paw,” and takes treats with a wonderfully gentle mouth. He even knows to sit when he’s ready to play ball. Toy Enthusiast: Lightning is very into toys and balls! He also enjoys exploring his environment with his mouth—a very puppy-like habit that will benefit from appropriate toys and chews. Affectionate & Social: Lightning is affiliative and comes over for attention. He loves pets and belly rubs, and enjoys a fun game of chase with other dogs in playgroup. Lightning will do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with well-matched canine friends.
