About Cheech
From Frightened Stray to Curious Explorer... Meet Cheech! Cheech is a 5-month-old kitten who came to us as a stray alongside his brother. When he first arrived, this little guy was all wide eyes and trembling paws, unsure of the big world around him. But every day, Cheech shows us just how far he's come.Of the two brothers, Cheech is often the first to poke his head out and investigate what's going on. His confidence continues to grow, and it's been wonderful watching his curious personality emerge. He enjoys playtime, loves treats, and is becoming more comfortable with people each day. While Cheech isn't quite ready to be scooped up for cuddles right away, we see a kitten who simply needs time to decompress and settle into a home. Once he realizes he's safe, we believe he'll be the kind of cat who happily lounges on the couch with his family and enjoys all the comforts of indoor life.Cheech gets along well with cats, dogs, and children, making him a great candidate for many different types of homes. His future family will be rewarded with the joy of watching a shy kitten continue to blossom into a confident and loving companion. If you're looking for a young cat whose trust and affection are something truly special to earn, Cheech may be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️Cheech's adoption fee is $25, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive!
