About Birdie

At 7 months old and 26 pounds, Birdie is a bundle of sweetness, smarts, and puppy joy. This brindle pittie mix is a total love bug who adores her people, morning cuddles, toys, and playtime. Her foster says she’s incredibly smart and eager to please, picking up new skills quickly and already knows “sit” and “leave it.” Birdie is wonderful on leash, though falling leaves are just too tempting to chase! When playtime is over, Birdie also settles beautifully. She does well in her crate, enjoys a good chew, and can happily entertain herself. She’s a fantastic car rider and loves curling up under a blanket for a snooze. Birdie can be a little cautious with new people, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe. She’s playful with other dogs and would thrive with continued socialization and positive, reward-based training. This happy, affectionate, wonderfully trainable girl has so much potential.
