Sandy (11.5 years old) Sandy is one of our sweet and gentle senior cats who needs a hero to give him a second chance. Through no fault of his own, this handsome big cat finds himself without a home or reassuring, calm people to love him. Going forward, Sandy needs a home like he had before: quiet with one or two people and no other pets or children. He can be shy at first and would like some cubbyholes and cat caves where he can hide if he wishes. Sandy enjoys being petted lightly and massaged around the sides of his face and the back of his head and neck. Once he's comfortable, he likes to sit next to you on the couch or in an oversized armchair. Sandy is not too old to play, so invite him to play-sessions with you and a feather wand toy. Sandy is a lovely gentleman who deserves a mellow and comforting home with one or two people who will adore him. Could that be you? Sandy likes older people and would be a good cat for seniors.
