Meet Choko! Choko may be a little guy, but don’t tell him that! This adorable boy is convinced he’s one of the big dogs, and honestly, we’re not sure anyone has the heart to tell him otherwise. Choko loves playing with all of his foster brothers and sisters, both big and small. He enjoys running and playing outside, chewing on his favorite bones, and playing ball. He’ll even bring the ball back to you… or at least somewhere in your general vicinity! When playtime is over, Choko is more than happy to settle in for some snuggles. He can sleep in a crate, but if given the choice, he would much rather curl up in bed with his person. He loves affection and kisses and will occasionally return a kiss of his own. Choko is a little guy with a big personality and can be selective about the people he chooses as his friends. He also has some food guarding behavior, so he is fed separately in a small crate where he can enjoy his meals without feeling the need to protect them. He can be a picky eater and has a hard time keeping weight on, so his foster has found a routine that works well for him. He currently eats Iams puppy food mixed with a little Cesar, sometimes with scrambled egg or cottage cheese added. Cesar is definitely his favorite! Choko has not been tested with cats, but he does enjoy children. He could be a great match for an active family who wants a playful little companion, but he’d be equally happy with someone who wants a pint-sized buddy to curl up and cuddle with.
