About Steelix bonded w/Onix

MEET STEELIX — THE CUDDLER OF THE PAIR ❤️ Steelix is a handsome gray boy with soft, medium-long fur, a playful personality, and a very special sister who has been by his side since the beginning. And yes, Pokémon fans may recognize his name! Steelix was named after the Pokémon character Steelix, while his sister Onix was named after Onix. The names couldn't be more perfect for this adorable gray brother-and-sister duo. ❤️ Steelix and his three littermates started life on the streets before eventually being brought to a shelter. The Dancing Cat was able to pull them from the shelter, and Steelix has been growing up safe, loved, and cared for in a wonderful foster home ever since. Steelix also has an adorable feature that makes him extra special — his tail isn't full length! Like his sister Onix, Steelix has a naturally short-looking tail that only adds to his unique charm. As we watched the litter grow, we decided to bond Steelix with his sister Onix, a beautiful long-haired gray and white girl with an adorable little L-shaped tail. These two truly enjoy being together — playing, exploring, chasing each other around, and enjoying all the fun of kittenhood side by side. While Onix is the little explorer of the pair, Steelix is definitely the cuddler. ❤️ He has a sweet, affectionate side and loves those cozy moments when playtime is over and it's time to settle in for some love. Steelix has been raised in an active foster household and exposed to dogs, so he is accustomed to the everyday sights, sounds, and activity of a busy home. From starting life on the streets to discovering what it feels like to be safe, warm, and loved, Steelix has already come a long way. Now there is just one chapter left to write: A forever home where Steelix and Onix can continue growing up together. ❤️ If you're looking for one little explorer and one little cuddler , Onix and Steelix might just be the perfect pair to steal your heart. Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop! Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
