Name: Peaches Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd and lab mix Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of Sept. 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 21 lbs as of 8/10/26 - she is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster homePeaches is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweetie wants nothing more than to have her own humans for sniffy walks and romps in parks and all the adventures they can dream up - and for snuggles after a fun day together. Making pup pals along the way would be great too. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well but what she wants most of all is to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. What do you say? Does Peaches have a spot in your home and your heart? What My Foster Says About Me: Peaches is as sweet as the fruit she is named for! She is very affectionate and loves to snuggle and give me kisses. She also gets along great with her two foster brothers (dogs ages 12 years and 1.5 years) - she plays when invited but also respects their space. Peaches is curious and has enjoyed playing with a variety of toys (plush, hard, etc)! She is still working on her crate training, but making good progress. Her future family will be lucky to have such an adorable, friendly companion! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
