About Milo K
Birthday: June 9, 2025 This handsome devil is Milo, and he can easily win you over with the flick of his paw! He was found outside through a Ring camera. Upon first glance, you could tell he was not in the greatest health. His rescuer-turned-foster won him over by leaving him food and water until she was able to finally get him inside. Eventually, his foster got him to a vet, where it was discovered that he needed some dental work done. It was during one of his surgeries where the doctor detected something in his heart. Milo has a heart murmur, and the rescue had this investigated. He has a small congenital opening between two changers of his heart. It does not need to be fixed; however, it does cause a little bit of heart enlargement. Milo is expected to have the same life span as another kitty. He will likely need to follow up with a specialty appointment, and he may be on medication daily indefinitely to prevent any blood clots. But don't let that stop you from loving this man! Now that Milo received all that TLC, he is feeling like a new cat! He's as lively as a cricket, often found playing nonstop! For someone with a heart issue, he is NUTS. HE DOES NOT STOP PLAYING. In fact, his foster believes if it was physically possible, he WOULD play all day! You can try to pick him up for a minute, but he just wants to get down and play some more! It might be in his best interest if he had an active play buddy in his new home. If he's somehow not roughing around with his toys, he will cuddle next to you. He loves to rub up against legs, showing how grateful he is. Whenever you hold him (if he isn't trying to wrestle free from you for playtime), he will let out a content purr that can make anyone smile. In a way, it's a good thing Milo has some small heart enlargement because he wants to fill it with more love for you! Milo's adoption donation is $90 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
