Ember

About Ember

Ember and Skinner (A054565) came into our shelter with some puppies in tow. All of them had skin issues that left them with very little fur. But we knew that underneath her strange look was a sweet girl who just wanted to enjoy the simple things in life! They were started on medication, and not a month later Ember finally began looking like the gorgeous girl we always knew she was. Ember is a low energy lady who prefers a peaceful pace in life. Her main hobby is just walking around and sniffing! She’s perfectly happy to do her own thing for awhile. While independent, when she sees the chance at being loved on, she’s all about it. She likes to be as close to you as possible while you pet her, and will lean into you to make sure she soaks up all the love she can. Ember loves treats and takes them gently from your hand. She knows how to sit on command for one too! Toys aren’t really her thing - she'd much rather enjoy a quiet stroll, some good sniffing time. She’s a calm, easygoing girl who would make a great addition to any home.
