These adorable bonded siblings have come a long way since they were rescued at just 4 weeks old after losing their mom to an untreated eye infection. Today, they’re healthy, happy, and slowly discovering that people—and the world outside their safe spaces—can be pretty wonderful. Nalia is the more confident of the two. She loves getting pets and is becoming sweeter and more affectionate as her trust grows. Chandler is still a little more cautious, but he’s discovered that a good belly rub is worth venturing out of his closet corner for! During the day, they both still prefer the security of their favorite closet, but they’re getting a little bolder every day. These two love playing, chasing toys, wrestling, and curling up together for naps. They’ve done well with other cats and could be happy with a friendly feline companion. Nalia and Chandler are looking for a quiet, patient home with someone who is willing to let them set the pace. An adopter who is home often and can give them time, treats, encouragement, and plenty of gentle affection could help these sweet kitties blossom. With the right person, we think their confidence will continue to grow—and watching them discover their new world will be incredibly rewarding. After everything they’ve been through, these two deserve a safe, loving forever home where they can continue to grow together.
