About Lucy 26/569

BREAKING NEWS: Lucy Is STILL Waiting for Her Forever Family! Hi, I'm Lucy! I came to the shelter as a little 5-month-old puppy, and somehow, I’m still here. I’ve basically grown up at the shelter, and while the staff loves me, I’m really hoping my next chapter is in a home of my own! I’m now a 40.6-pound bundle of sweetness, silliness, and puppy energy, and I’m ready to trade my kennel for a couch, a yard, and a family to call my own. Here’s what you should know about me: I’m sweet and friendly with people. I love attention and am always happy to make new friends. I LOVE other dogs! I get along well with my canine friends and would do especially well in a home with another active, playful dog who can help me burn off some of this puppy energy. I’m playful! I may have grown up in the shelter, but I haven’t lost my goofy puppy spirit. I’m ready for someone who will give me the chance to experience all the fun things a dog should get to enjoy. Leash walking? Let’s just say we’re still working on our relationship. I’m learning, and with patience, consistency, and someone willing to teach me, I know I can become a great walking buddy. The truth is, I’m just a big puppy who has spent way too much of her puppyhood in a shelter. I’m ready to finally learn what it feels like to have a family, a comfy bed, toys, adventures, and someone who chooses me. And there’s even MORE good news… MY ADOPTION FEE IS SPONSORED AND REDUCED TO JUST $50! That’s right — you can bring home 40.6 pounds of sweet, playful Lucy for just $50! If you’re looking for a fun-loving dog who is good with other dogs, full of personality, and ready for a family to finally call her own, please come meet Lucy. She has waited long enough. Call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment to meet Lucy! Lucy’s been waiting for her forever family. Maybe it’s you. P.S. Lucy still believes the leash should learn to follow her. We’re working on convincing her otherwise.
