About Duke

Meet our strong resilient survivor- Duke! Duke was stuck by a car and suffered a broken pelvis. He underwent lifesaving surgery to repair his injuries and he’s made a remarkable recovery! Duke is once again enjoying daily walks and continues to get stronger every day. Through it all Duke has been nothing but sweet and affectionate to everyone he has met! He has proven to be not only a survivor but an all around amazing dog. At only 5 years old, Duke is ready for a fresh start and a family that will adore him as much as he will adore them! This guy loves to be around people and would thrive in a home where someone is around to keep him company most of the time. He promises to be a fabulous companion! If you’d like to be considered to give Duke the forever home he deserves, please fill out an application on our website at Rescueridge.com. If your application is a potential match, a volunteer will reach out to you to schedule a meet. Duke is located in Monmouth County, NJ Please note, we rarely do out of state adoptions.
