Meet Babycakes — As Sweet as Her Name Babycakes is a beautiful female calico kitten with a sweet, gentle personality and so much love to give. She is playful, happy, and full of personality. Once she’s done playing, she loves finding someone to curl up next to for a nap. She is friendly, affectionate, and loves spending time with both people and her littermates, Sweetiepie, Honeybun, and Sugarplum. Babycakes and her siblings were rescued from a car yard and brought to safety. Since then, they have been growing up in a wonderful foster home where they have received so much love and care. That experience has helped Babycakes blossom into the happy, trusting, affectionate little girl she is today. Babycakes loves all the things a kitten should — playing, exploring, cuddling, and spending time with her siblings. She has a gentle, loving nature and is ready to bring that sweetness into a family of her own. As part of her medical care, Babycakes was evaluated by an eye specialist after we noticed a few differences with one of her eyes. The specialist found a very small cataract, which can simply be monitored as she grows, as well as a small area of visible tissue believed to be related to how her eye developed before birth. The specialist does not believe the tissue is cancerous or that Babycakes has an increased risk of cancer, and she has been cleared for adoption. She no longer needs eye medication or another specialist recheck unless something changes in the future. Most importantly, none of this has stopped Babycakes from enjoying life. She is a happy, playful, affectionate kitten who doesn't know she's any different — she is simply Babycakes. ❤️ Preference will be given to a home that can adopt Babycakes with one of her siblings because she loves having another kitten to play, cuddle, and grow up with. However, we are also open to the right single adoption, especially if her new home already has a friendly cat or kitten who can be her companion. Our biggest priority is finding Babycakes the loving forever home she deserves — whether that's alongside one of her siblings or with a wonderful new feline friend already waiting for her. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home.
