Hound / Labrador Retriever
About Herc
Herc has officially found his voice, and apparently, he has quite a bit to say. ??Herc can be a little timid at first, but once he gets comfortable, his personality really starts to show. In foster care, he’s been coming out of his shell more each day and settling right into life at home. The quieter boy who first arrived is becoming more expressive, more curious, and much more willing to join in on the fun.One thing we’ve learned? Herc is a chew toy’s biggest fan, especially if it squeaks. He loves romping around with other dogs, getting a little silly, and, of course, collecting as many treats as possible. He’s added plenty of energy to the house, but when the fun winds down, he’s just as happy soaking up some love and enjoying time with his people. It’s been wonderful watching more and more of Herc shine through. There’s a sweet, goofy dog underneath that initial shyness, and he’s finally getting the chance to show everyone just how much personality he has. ??Foster care gave Herc the space to feel safe enough to be himself. Now, he needs someone who will give him the chance to keep blossoming, knowing he’s finally home for good.
