About Dobby

Meet Dobby — Looking for a Team Captain for Her Zoomie Squad! If you've been wishing for a fun-loving sidekick with endless enthusiasm, Dobby is ready to grant your wish! This young Pit Bull mix is powered by zoomies, squeaky toys, and the belief that every day deserves an adventure. She's always ready to run, play, and make the most of life—and once she finally pauses for a breather, she's a sweet, friendly cuddle bug who loves attention.Dobby came to the shelter because she was doing what many young dogs do when they don't have enough exercise, enrichment, or training—finding her own `projects` around the house. The good news? Her previous family shared that she has already had some training, and is very friendly with adults, kids, and possibly even cats. She simply needs an active family that's ready to help her channel all that youthful energy into fun, appropriate activities. She's strong on leash when she's bursting with excitement, but she's much easier to walk after burning off some energy, and a harness makes outings even more enjoyable. Dobby will thrive with continued training, crate training, plenty of exercise, puzzle toys, and people who understand that young dogs don't stay puppies forever—they just need guidance. If you're looking for a jogging buddy, hiking partner, fetch champion, and full-time entertainer who will reward your efforts with endless love and laughs, Dobby is ready to make your house feel like home. Just hide your favorite shoes until she's finished learning the rules!
