About Ladybug
Location: Swarthmore, PA Ladybug is a sweet senior girl, estimated to be 8+ years old, who has truly come full circle in foster care. After having her mammary tumors removed and a much-needed dental, she's feeling good, medically ready, and waiting for a forever home of her own. The timid girl who once wanted to hide from the world has rediscovered her confidence and remembered how to be an Australian Cattle Dog! Ladybug has gone back to her roots and become much more engaged with the world around her. She's still independent and enjoys doing her own thing, but she now seeks out affection and absolutely loves head scratches and belly rubs. When it's time to relax, all she asks for is a nice soft bed. Ladybug would still do best in a fairly quiet, low-key home without children. She does well with other dogs as long as they're calm and respectful—pushy, overly energetic, or in-your-face dogs aren't her style. She's house-trained and enjoys spending time outside, lounging around the house, and keeping tabs on what everyone is doing. She can still be a picky eater, but meat is definitely the way to her heart, and Pupperonis are her absolute favorite treat. Ladybug has come such a long way. She's healed, she's found her confidence, and she's ready for her next chapter. Now this sweet senior girl just needs a soft bed, a peaceful home, and someone to call her own.
