About Samir

Samir didn’t begin life destined for a comfortable couch. He and his siblings were born outdoors to a feral mama at a local water park in Oxford. Thankfully, the little family was safely captured before the kittens grew up without learning to trust people. Mama was spayed through TNR and returned to the territory she knew, while Samir and his siblings headed into foster care. And what a difference foster care made! With plenty of patience, gentle handling, playtime, and affection, Samir learned that humans can be pretty wonderful. The kitten born to a feral mama has turned into a genuine little love bug who enjoys human companionship. He has also spent time around small children and does well with them, making him a wonderful candidate for a family home. Samir has already made the biggest transition of his young life—from being born outdoors to discovering the comforts and affection of indoor living. Now he’s ready for the final step. No more water-park life for this boy. Samir is ready for a forever home where he can grow up surrounded by love, playtime, and people of his very own.
