About Honeydewbert
****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org**** Honeydewbert and her trio of baby girls were part of an outdoor colony that lost their caretaker and were too friendly to relocate. Indoor life with toys and treats, please! Honeydewbert acts perfectly comfortable inside. She loves pets and treats and catnip toys. Honeydewbert has been a very patient mama who constantly talks to her daughters and will either indulge them or demonstrate healthy boundaries as needed. She is suspicious of other adult cats who even look in the direction of her daughters. She also tried to insist we hand over a hungry baby kitten who didn’t have his own mama anymore so she could share her milk with him. We sadly couldn’t let her do it for health and safety reasons, but it was very sweet. We’re not sure how old Honeydewbert is. She has definitely lived rough for a while, but we think her short tail is probably natural. She is bonded with her equally tabico baby Golden Prize Melon. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****
