The five of us - Ms. Samira, Mr. Robbie, Ms. Mel, Ms. Javadi, and Mr. Huckleberry - have loved our time in the puppy pile with our mama Dana, but we are each ready to pack our bags and find our very own forever home! I'm looking for a home that will let me play with toys and get my puppy zoomies out and give me snuggles in between playtimes. When I'm a little older, I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. Oh, and I should probably take a puppy obedience class or two so I can show you how smart I am. What My Foster Says About Me: Mr. Huckleberry is an absolute sweetheart with a bouncy, joyful personality! While he was a little shy when he first arrived, he warmed up quickly and has proven himself to be a cuddly, affectionate lovebug who loves being around his people. Mr. Huckleberry takes great cues from his canine foster siblings—he’s always ready to play with the ones who want to play. He loves his walks and happily bounces along with everyone else, stopping to sniff and take in the world around him. He’s engaged and eager to learn. After some playtime and exercise, he settles beautifully at home. He does a great job at night in his crate and settles in for a nap during the day. This smart boy already knows “sit” and is working on his recall, “drop it,” and “leave it.” He’s currently teething but has been a good boy about chewing his toys. He’s also been wonderful with the kids in his foster home and respectful of the resident cats. Don’t let his understated manner fool you at adoption events—once he’s comfortable, Mr. Huckleberry is playful, friendly, and full of personality! He’s the kind of dog who would love a family that can give him some playtime, walks, a cozy couch, and lots of love. Mr. Huckleberry is ready to find his forever family and will make an absolutely wonderful addition to the right home! Your new dog will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!
