About Enzo

Meet Enzo! Enzo is a smart, feisty one-year-old who is always ready for fun. He loves going for walks, playing fetch, wrestling with his canine foster brother, and joining his people on new adventures. When the activity winds down, he is equally happy chewing on a toy, taking a nap, or curling up beside someone on the couch. This curious little shadow wants to be wherever his people are. Whether you are working, cooking, doing laundry, or relaxing, Enzo will be nearby supervising. He loves attention, learns quickly, and already knows “sit.”Enzo is house trained and signals when he needs to go outside. He walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and willingly settles in his crate at night and when left home alone. He gets along well with his canine foster brother and enjoys meeting dogs during walks. Busy environments with many dogs in a small space can be overwhelming for him, so calmer introductions are best. Enzo must also be fed separately from other dogs because he does not like them approaching food. He has not shown any food guarding with people.Enzo loves people and has done well with children. He sometimes jumps up when excited or seeking attention, so his family should continue helping him practice polite greetings. His ideal home will keep him active, include him in daily life, and provide plenty of affection. Enzo could live with or without another dog, but any canine companion should be comfortable with his confident personality. With his impressive jumping skills, playful spirit, and devotion to his people, Enzo will make life much more entertaining. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.) To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. PLEASE READ: • If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this. • All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date. • Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments. Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well. Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation. For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.
