About Rue

Birthdate: 02/16/2023Breed: One of a kindRue has traveled all the way from Puerto Rico to find her forever home. Having grown up there with her siblings and lots of other cats, Rue would do great in a multicat home, but is content to be by herself as well. With Rue, patience is key. She is a gentle, sensitive girl who can be a little nervous around new people, but she feels most comfortable when given the time and space to settle in at her own pace. She doesn't need much, just a quiet space where she can nap and relax. With time, consistency, and understanding, Rue is sure to show her sweet personality to the lucky family who gives her a chance. The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://www.pawscrossedny.org/cat-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.
