About Salem

Salem is a shy girl and also our oldest cafe resident at a whole 3 years old! She may take a little time to come out of her shell, but once she decides you are trustworthy enough for that first pet... good luck stopping.Salem loves her pets and if you dare to stop before she's ready, she'll very politely pull your hand right back to her face to remind you that your shift is not over yet. She's so focused on getting all the attention she can that she's actually terrible at letting us take pictures of her because she would much rather be getting pets than posing for the camera.When the cafe is quiet, Salem loves hanging out up high and has become a big fan of our new cat obstacle course and her favorite cat tree in the front window. She'll play every now and then, but at her heart, Salem is all about affection.Perhaps our favortite thing about her? Salem is basically the Cafe's honorary mama. She absolutely adores the kittens we get in, and if you can't find one, there's a very good chance they're tucked under the couch cuddled up with Salem or getting a thorough grooming session from their mama-by-choice.She may need a little patience before she trusts you, but once she does, you'll discover just how big of a lover this sweet girl really is!Salem was abandoned by her family in Union and came to Ferals in Peril to find her forever home in April of this year.
