About Mimi: Barn Cat (FCID# 05/06/2025 - 36)

Meet Mimi – A Quiet Nighttime Guardian .Mimi is a 7–8-year-old independent cat looking for a safe outdoor home where she can live life on her own terms. She prefers her space and does not engage with other cats, so she would do best as the only cat in a barn, stable, or similar setting. Mimi is a true night owl. During the day, she keeps to herself in a cozy hiding spot, but once the world quiets down, she becomes more active and comfortable. Interestingly, she does show signs of trust—she’s been known to curl up on the bed when no one is around—but will quickly retreat to her safe space if approached. She isn’t a social or hands-on cat, but she’s observant, independent, and well-suited for a working role where she can put her natural instincts to use. With proper care—food, water, shelter, and a patient acclimation period—Mimi will settle into her new environment and quietly thrive. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance barn cat who values independence but still forms her own quiet routines around people, Mimi could be a great fit.
