Sargie is a fun-loving, high-energy girl whose favorite thing in the world might just be chasing a wand toy. Give her her beloved fuzzy worm wand and prepare to be entertained—she runs, jumps, twists, and performs the most amazing acrobatic turns in midair! Sargie has always lived with other cats, and it shows. Cats are her favorite, and she loves chasing, wrestling, and playing with her feline friends. She started out with her sister, Carly, who has since been adopted, and now lives with two resident cats. She’s never been an only cat and would likely enjoy having a playful kitty companion in her new home. She’s also learned that if she wants playtime, she can meow and ask for it! She’ll happily play with her feline friends or with a human wielding a wand, although she can entertain herself for a while, too. She especially loves racing up and down the stairwell in her building—over and over and over again! Sargie has a little adventurer in her. She enjoys exploring quiet new areas and sniffing anything interesting she discovers along the way. Sudden noises or an unexpected door opening will send her racing back to the safety of home, though, and she currently isn't a fan of the harness. Her foster is taking that one step at a time. While play comes before cuddles, Sargie is becoming more affectionate every day. After she’s worn herself out, she enjoys pets and is increasingly asking to be picked up and held before settling down for a nap. She isn't quite a chest-or-lap sleeper yet, but she loves falling asleep nearby—and at night, she likes to sleep at the end of the bed. Sargie is easygoing and curious once she feels comfortable, and she enjoys checking out new people who enter her space. Adoption fairs can be overwhelming for her, so she tends to hide toward the back of her cage there. Don't let that fool you—at home, she's a playful, social girl with plenty of personality. Sargie would love a home with another cat, an active lifestyle, and lots of opportunities for playtime. Most importantly, she wants to be included. If another cat heads out for an adventure without her, she will loudly let everyone know that she was NOT consulted!
