Riot Is Still Waiting for Her Someone Six years ago, Riot found her person. She was adopted as a kitten in 2019 by an older woman, and for six wonderful years, Riot knew what it meant to be someone’s girl. She had a home. She had her human. She was loved. She was part of someone’s world. Then, in February 2026, everything changed. Riot’s beloved owner passed away. Riot suddenly found herself at a shelter, confused and frightened, waiting for someone to come for her. Someone did come. But what Riot really needs now is someone who will stay. Riot is a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely loves her humans. She loves attention, pets, and being close to the person she trusts. She wants to be loved—and she wants to be the center of someone’s world again. But Riot has made one thing very clear: She does not want to share her human with other animals. When another cat or animal gets too close, Riot will hiss or swat to say, “Please go away.” She isn't looking for a roommate. She isn't looking for a furry sibling. She is looking for HER person. Riot would thrive in a quiet home where she can be the one and only pet—where she can soak up all the love, attention, cuddles, and affection she deserves.
