About Tator

TATOR NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Tator Best Guess for Breed: Lab and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of May 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 35 lbs as of September 2026Special Adoption Considerations: Tator can be nervous in new situations and has to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog to show her the ropes. Gets Along With: Other dogs and cats! She would do best in a home with older kids. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Tator and her friend Bowie enjoying a walk! Tator loves walking with her friend Bowie! What My Foster Says About Me: If you want to spice up your life, adopt Tator! She is a super sweet and spunky girl who will provide you endless laughs with her clumsy version of furniture parkour. She likes to show her love by flopping into your lap and running back and forth across you as you try unsuccessfully to drink your morning coffee. If you dare to show love to another living creature, she will let you know exactly how she feels about the attention not being entirely on her. Tator can be a little anxious outside, especially in busy areas, so she would do best in a quiet neighborhood. She loves other dogs, so she would love an energetic playmate to match her spunk! Tator is Looking For: Her forever home! This young pup hasn't seen enough of the world yet, and is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And she'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved. In exchange she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she's storing up, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Tator the one you see by your side?Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
