Meet Maggie, the Blue female, purebred Doberman, with a BIG personality! This stunning 5-year-old blue Doberman Pinscher has entered the building, and she would like everyone to know that she is fabulous. Maggie is beautiful, sweet, loyal, and, naturally, equipped with just the right amount of Doberman sass. She has a big heart, a fun personality, loves other dogs, is easy to get along with, and absolutely no intention of being a wallflower. Through no fault of her own, changes in her family’s circumstances meant Maggie lost the home she knew. Now this beautiful girl is ready to turn the page and find the people who will make her next chapter her forever chapter. And Maggie has some exciting news... SHE LIKES DOGS! Maggie would love to have canine pals in her forever home. She enjoys having other dogs around and would be happy to share her humans, her toys, her adventures, and probably her opinions with a compatible four-legged roommate. But what about the kitty question? Well, Maggie recently had a very important meeting at the veterinarian's office. She met a CAT! And Maggie did WONDERFULLY. She gave the kitty a few investigative nose checks, apparently decided this strange little creature was pretty darn interesting, and behaved beautifully. Her veterinarian felt Maggie could do well living with a dog-savvy cat in the right home. Of course, Maggie, and ALL dogs, still needs appropriate introductions and supervision around any feline and canine roommates. But her kitty meet-and-greet was a very encouraging success! Maggie does have a high prey drive for little critters outside, so while she apparently found this particular cat quite fascinating, and was willing to be pals with it! We are looking for a home that understands that every dog and cat relationship needs to be managed responsibly. No sending Maggie off on unsupervised feline field trips! This girl is ready for FUN! She wants a family who will include her in life, give her stability and structure, and let her be the silly, loving, slightly sassy Doberman she was born to be. Maggie is not looking for a temporary pit stop. She is looking for HER PEOPLE. The kind of people who will say, “Yes, Maggie, you may come with us.” Going for a walk? Maggie's coming. Adventure? Maggie's coming. Road trip? Maggie is already in the car. Couch time? Obviously Maggie is coming. Someone has a snack? Maggie would like to discuss this development.
