About Guppy
Meet Guppy! This handsome man was trapped from a feral colony for TNR, but our volunteers knew he had too much potential to go back outside. Guppy's foster mom has been working hard with him and he has learned to love treats and to not be so scared. Guppy adores other cats and loves to romp and play with his foster siblings. Guppy also lives with a dog in his foster home and has done well with her. At about one year old, Guppy has lots of kitten energy but is also happy to chill out on the couch. He will lay on the couch with his foster mom, but does not often want to be in her lap or getting pets. He is VERY shy around new people and will likely always hide when strangers are at his house. Guppy will require a patient adopter willing to give him time to adjust to his new home, and who will understand that he may never be a confident lap cat. Guppy's adoption fee of $50 includes negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking on More About Rose's Rescue - you may fill out adoption application from there. Or, go to the Rose's Rescue website, www.rosesrescue.net, and click on Fees - Adoption Info - Online Application. Thank you for considering adoption - our adoptable cats can't wait to meet you!
