About George Washington

George Washington is a big, classic orange-and-white boy who sits regally at the front of his kennel, offering calm slow blinks like a true gentleman. Still a bit shy, he accepts gentle head scratches and leans in with the start of a purr. Trust level: Petting: Yes; dignified head scritches welcome. Play: Loves wand toys and polite pounces. He gets along splendidly with his siblings and would thrive with at least one calm cat friend. George is looking for a quiet adult home with a patient family that will let him build trust at his own pace. Come meet this soft orange gentleman and watch him grow into a loyal lap cat. Visitors to the shelter are by appointment only and after a form has been submitted online: https://www.marshmallowfoundation.org/forms/
