About Whinnie
My name is Whinnie and I am one of six kittens raised in a PAWS-OK Foster home. Our mom, Wendy, was pregnant when she was rescued by a lovely couple. I am probably the shyest of all of us, but then again it's hard to get seen with so much action going on by my siblings. I would prefer a quieter home with lots of attention and a lap or two to make me feel safe. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. All our cats are in volunteer foster homes. If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 4-6 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview and then a time to meet the cat or kitten. If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation. Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens. If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.
