About Livvy

PLEASE HELP US CHANGE LIVVY’S STORY. We have posted this sweet girl again and again since she came to us in July 2025. And somehow, Livvy still hasn’t received any real adoption interest. Her microchip records tell us she is approximately 2 years and 1 month old. And when you put the dates together, the math is heartbreaking.Livvy was once someone’s puppy. She was in a home and was spayed at about 9 months old. Yet within a month, she was found running the streets in another county. Her family was contacted—and they didn’t want her back.So at only 10 months old, Livvy’s address became a kennel at the county shelter. She stayed there long enough to eventually make the unsafe list, through absolutely no fault of her own. The shelter was simply out of space. She was just turning a year old when she desperately needed someone to pull her.We did. That was 14 months ago.Livvy has now spent more than half of her entire life in a shelter or rescue. And she is such a GOOD girl. For a while, Livvy had a best friend—a coonhound she absolutely adored. He was pulled by one of our rescue partners last spring, and while we were thrilled for him, Livvy lost her buddy. She has been waiting alone ever since. This girl deserves more than watching the months pass from rescue. She deserves a couch. A person. Car rides. Trips to the farm. Errands around town. Someone who looks over and says, “Come on, Livvy. You’re going with me.”She’s a nice, manageable size and we believe she could do very well as a house dog and everyday sidekick. Most of all, she needs someone willing to finally make her part of a family again. She is only two years old. We cannot let another year of her life pass this way. Please share Livvy. Somewhere out there is the person she has been waiting almost her entire life to meet.
