About Jackson *FOSTER NEEDED TOO!

Meet Jackson – A Laid-Back Gentleman Looking for His Soft Landing Like many of us, Jackson is adjusting to some unexpected life changes. This Heinz 57 mix spent seven wonderful years with his family before discovering that life with a toddler wasn’t quite his speed (honestly… relatable). Despite the upheaval, Jackson remains a sweet, well-mannered Good Dog™. He’s house-trained, crate-trained (and actually loves his crate), and knows multiple commands and tricks. Bonus for fellow homebodies: Jackson is not a fan of walks, but he is an expert couch companion, backyard zoomie enthusiast, and sunbathing nap professional. His ideal home would be adults or teens, a fenced yard, and a calm environment. Jackson can live with another dog or even a dog-savvy cat, but he’ll need slow, thoughtful introductions to set everyone up for success. Jackson at a Glance: Age: 9 years Weight: ~50 lbs Temperament: Great with adults/teens, dogs with slow intros, okay with dog-savvy cats Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, knows commands and tricks Vetting: Neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion who just wants to relax by your side, Jackson may be your perfect match. *** To ensure the best match for pets and adopters, we ask that you complete an Adoption Application at www.doggieharmony.org (click “Forms”). Once approved, we’ll arrange a home visit with the pet. As a donation-funded rescue, an adoption fee is requested to help cover basic veterinary care.
