About Chestnut (TX)

Chestnut (TX) is a male Shepherd mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Chestnut is 1.5 years old at the time of intake in Dec 2022.Chestnut is good with people and other dogs. Chestnut was homeless wandering the streets doing his best to survive and not getting hit by a car. He was in need of medical care so we got him the care he needed and now he's thriving. All this guy wants is a home of his own with a family who will do anything to keep him safe and happy. In the meantime he is in a foster home and his foster mom says that he is the sweetest, most affectionate and playful dog. He likes to run, play with toys and with other dogs. he's very intelligent and a quick learner. Chestnut loves to run around and would do best with an active family or in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can run around. If you can give Chestnut the best home with lots of love, kisses, cuddles, treats and soft beds, please apply online to adopt Chestnut (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. All pets are current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter. Chestnut's adoption fee is $450.
