Meet Monroe Monroe is a sweet 3-year-old terrier mix who has come so far since being found abandoned in a box along the highway with his siblings. He is currently in a loving foster home with three children who absolutely adore him. He sleeps in their beds, loves curling up in their laps, and wants to be wherever his people are. He gets along with other dogs, is potty trained, quiet, and walks well on a leash. Monroe can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little time to sniff and get comfortable, and he warms up quickly. Once he trusts you, he’ll be your little shadow and want to follow you everywhere. He’s ready for a forever family who will love him as much as his foster family does. Adoption fee: $300. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchip, 4dx negative, current on proheart 12 and bravecto. Apply to adopt Monroe at www.adoggie4you.org Monroe is currently in Texas and can be transported to Washington, Portland (OR), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. We cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations. Monroe doesn’t need much—just a loving family, a cozy lap, and someone to follow around for the rest of his life. ❤️
